HOW TO TREAT DRY AND DAMAGED HAIR WITH CARRIER OILS

Taking good care of your hair, following a healthy diet, using quality hair care products meant for your hair type and using some conditioners can prevent it from drying out. Hair becomes dry when the hair shafts do not absorb or retain enough moisture, resulting in a brittle, lackluster appearance. This can be due to illness or nutritional deficiencies, the use of harsh hair products, excessively washing your hair, exposure to chlorinated water, and frequent use of heated styling tools or hair dye. Many simple home remedies can help treat dry hair and restore its health and shine.

1.COCONUT OIL:
Coconut oil is a very well know secret of hair growth, healthy hair and healthy scalp. This oil works wonder for both dry hair and oily scalp. It promotes hair growth, reduces scalp infections. And helps your damaged hair regain its natural shine and vitality, protecting it from both inside and outside.

2.ARGAN OIL:
This oil is known as liquid gold. It is a natural sunscreen and heat protectant. If you’re looking for a multi-purpose natural hair product, this is something you should definitely try. It will improve the elasticity of your dry, brittle hair, help reduce the fizziness of your hair making them softer and more manageable, repair damaged tresses and reduce further breakage as well.

3.GOOSEBERRY OIL:
It is a great conditioner and reduces dandruff. It avoids premature greying.

4.SESAME OIL:
Sesame oil can combat hair dryness by protecting and healing the outer damaged layer of your hair. Its antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties can help prevent hair loss.

5.OLIVE OIL:
The presence of rich vitamin E and antioxidant content in olive oil help heal damaged hair by sealing the cuticle, or the outer layer, with moisture. It can be used as a hot oil hair treatment to strengthen, add shine and restore moisture to very dry hair.

6.CASTOR OIL:
Castor oil can be used on the scalp to help prevent and remedy hair loss and it is effective at this for several reasons. It’s antibacterial and anti-fungal properties make it beneficial against dandruff and scalp infections and it helps increase blood circulation to the scalp and improve hair growth.

7.ALMOND OIL:
Almond oil not only nourishes the scalp even the hair shaft will get the benefit of it. The glands in the scalp produce an oily substance that forms a natural protective coating on each strand of hair. But hair can become too dry and brittle from frequent use of shampoos that strip the hair of these natural oils. This results in breakages and split ends that reduce the length of the hair. So these problems can be reduced by using almond oil.

ALL THESE OILS CAN BE USED ON HAIR ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK.

That’s all folks :) Make use of all these natural oils and keep your tresses healthy and beautiful.
