HOME REMEDIES FOR COLD AND COUGH


Cold and cough, though not serious in all cases do not spare anyone and most of us stock cold medicine at home. Simple substances in your kitchen might deal with cough and cold. Here are some quick and effective remedies to fight against cold and cough.

1.Honey and lemon :
Prepare a mixture of lemon and honey to recover from a cold and sore throat. Here is how to prepare: Put two teaspoons of honey and two teaspoons of lemon in warm water and sip it slowly. Do this 3 to 4 times a day to get rid of cold.

2.Milk and Turmeric :

Warm milk and turmeric is a popular and effective way to fight cough. It’s also healthy ingredients for healthy living.

3.Ginger Tea :

Add some ginger into a vessel containing one cup of water. Boil the liquid until the volume reduces to half the original quantity. Strain the liquid, add one teaspoon of honey and drink when warm to give a soothing effect against cough and also it helps in drying up a running and dripping nose as well as a common cold.


4.Gooseberry :

It prevents most of the diseases if taken regularly. It improves blood circulation and boosts the immune system too.


5.Flaxseeds :

Boil flaxseeds until it thickens and strain it. Add a few drops of honey and lemon. Consume it once a day till u get rid of cold and cough.

6.Ginger and Salt :

Take a thin slice of ginger, add a pinch of salt to it and start chewing to fight the cold, cough, and sore throat.

7.Red Onion and honey :

This is a wonderful remedy for both adults and kids. Take 1 spoon of onion juice, add an equal amount of honey to it and consume it. Prepare this tasty cold and cough syrup at home :D.

8.Garlic :

Crush some garlic clove and place it in a glass along with the juice from the lemon. Add some honey according to your taste and then pour some warm water. Drink it entirely. Repeat 2-3 times a day.
